Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information POLISHWALA collects when you use our website and book our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Booking details: your name, mobile number, email address (optional), service address, landmark, preferred date and time, and any notes you give us.
  • Enquiries: the details you enter in our contact or call-back forms.
  • Reviews: the rating and comments you submit about a service.
  • Technical data: basic information such as your IP address and browser type, used for security and to keep the site working.

Online payments are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on the payment partner’s secure window and are not stored on our website or servers.

How we use your information

  • To create, confirm, reschedule or cancel your booking and to send you updates about it.
  • To send our crew to the correct address at the correct time.
  • To process payments and refunds.
  • To respond to your enquiries and requests for a call back.
  • To prevent fraud, spam and misuse of the website.
  • To improve our services using your reviews and feedback.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to deliver your service: with the crew assigned to your booking, with our payment partner to process payments, and with messaging or email providers used to send booking updates. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Cookies

We use a small cookie to remember the items in your cart and to protect forms against misuse. If analytics or advertising tools are switched on for this website, they may set their own cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and checkout may not work without them.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide support, handle disputes and meet accounting and legal requirements. Enquiries and call-back requests are deleted when they are no longer needed.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you messages, by contacting us using the details on our contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to records we must keep by law.

Children

Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
